About Music Therapy
"Music Therapy is an established psychological clinical intervention, delivered by HCPC registered music therapists to help people whose lives have been affected by injury, illness or disability through supporting their psychological, emotional, cognitive, physical, communicative and social needs." - British Association of Music Therapy
Music therapy provides communication and connection without words, helping you to explore complex and difficult memories and interactions through a powerful, expressive means. The therapist-client relationship forms a safe space for emotional exploration, developing communication and interaction skills, and exercising emotional regulation to develop coping techniques for overwhelming emotions.
